IWBD

The International Women Board of Directors is an initiative of On Board Women, is dedicated to bridging the gender gap and promoting female representation at the C-level and on corporate boards. IWBD fosters an inclusive network that exchanges skills and expertise and provides inspirational training programs to empower women to become high-level corporate leaders. IWBD helps companies to make DEI - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion part of Corporate DNA.
IWBD aims to increase awareness of the positive impact of gender diversity on corporate boards, including improvements in KPIs, profitability, and community growth and culture. Partnering with local and international organizations to promote the hiring of more women as board directors, IWBD champions to close the gap between CHROs, Executive Head Hunters, CEOs and Women Executives through various engagements, workshops and trainings.



Advisory Board
The IWBD Advisory Board plays a crucial role in shaping the platform's projects and growth strategies by sharing insights and recommendations based on members' expertise. Advisory Board members also serve as brand ambassadors, advocating for DEI initiatives, programs, and events on platforms like LinkedIn or as event speakers, while offering guidance and leadership to create a meaningful impact.

Industry Committees
All committees are based on senior leaders on voluntary job who are willing to contribute to society’s progress on DEI principles. It is based on bi/monthly virtual or physical gatherings on one of the committee member’s office to build the sense of the community. Each gathering harness best practices sharing and learnings in your industry.

Introduction to IWBD Industry Committees
The IWBD Industry Committees bring together senior leaders in voluntary roles for engagement to contribute to the progress of DEI principles within their respective sectors. These committees provide a platform for members to collaborate, share best practices, and drive initiatives that promote women’s advancement in leadership roles.
Role of an IWBD Industry Committee Member
As a member of an IWBD Industry Committee, you will play an essential role in fostering a community of leaders dedicated to advancing women in leadership. Your responsibilities include:
● Active Participation: Attend bi-monthly virtual or in-person gatherings to contribute to meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas. Missing three meetings in a row is a kind dismissal reason.

Sharing Best Practices: Contribute insights, experiences, and strategies that promote DEI and the advancement of women in leadership within your industry.

Insights & Reporting: Provide valuable input during committee meetings, which will help shape the annual IWBD report on challenges, solutions, and recommendations for advancing women’s leadership.

Committee Structure & Engagement
The IWBD Industry Committees meet bi-monthly, either virtually or at a member’s office. These sessions provide opportunities for members to exchange insights, discuss strategies, and collaborate on solutions for advancing women’s leadership. At the end of each year, the committees will contribute to a Point of View (POV) report, outlining:
